Before anything is done, Dr. Nguyen will examine your teeth and review your dental history. We’ll also use advanced imaging (like X-rays or 3D scans) to get a clear look at the tooth and its root, along with any nearby bone and nerves. We’ll discuss your symptoms and go over the sedation options that will make you feel the most comfortable during the procedure.

Administering Anesthesia and Sedation

Your comfort is our top priority. Depending on the complexity of the extraction and your personal preferences, we offer a range of sedation options. Many patients choose "twilight anesthesia" or IV sedation, which allows you to relax and even sleep while Dr. Nguyen works. For simpler extractions, we can use local anesthesia to numb the area. We’ll make sure you’re completely comfortable and relaxed before we start.

Precise Tooth Removal and Site Care

Once you’re fully relaxed, Dr. Nguyen will carefully remove the tooth using specialized techniques that preserve the surrounding bone and tissue. For simple extractions, the tooth will be gently loosened and removed. If the extraction is more complex, like with impacted wisdom teeth, a small incision may be needed to safely remove the tooth. Afterward, the site will be cleaned, and sutures may be placed if needed. We’ll give you detailed aftercare instructions to make sure you heal quickly and without any issues.

I would highly recommend this office. The staff are friendly and the oral surgeons are top notch. They don't try to sell you on procedures that aren't necessary and are very professional and thorough during the whole process. I had a dental implant inserted and two wisdom teeth pulled. I felt so at ease just before surgery because they were so friendly and warm. They performed the extractions and insertion effectively and was feeling fine afterwards. They called the next day to check on me. Through our the whole process, they patiently explained everything to me and didn't move on until I was fully informed. I was surprised that they sent me a check back when they discovered, on their own, that they over charged me.
